Type : 03 Nights / 04 Days

  • DAY 1: Our FWD with driver takes you from Bahariya Oasis directly via Farafra Oasis to Abu Minqar (ca. 300kms; asphalt road). Leaving the road SW, start climbing the huge sand-dunes of the Great Sand Sea. Camp 1.

  • DAY 2: Reach Ammonite Scarp, placed on the map by the German Explorer Gerhard Rholfs on his Camel Expedition in 1874. Camp 2.

  • DAY 3: Drive N through the Great Sand Sea dunes towards Ayn Della. Camp 3.

  • DAY 4: Reach Ayn Della Road and visit the Lion Cave in Wadi al-Obeit, and if there is enough time enjoy the western part of the White Desert. Return to Bahariya Oasis on the asphalt road. Overnight at the Hot Spring Hotel***.
